the more places I go the more confused I get. Ive been all over long island. I think i have it down to Larkfield Manor and Chateau Briand. There are different things i like about both. I like Larkfield a little better, but my fiance loves chateau.

I never visited Larkfield so I have no idea what it's like, but we're at Chateau Briand and LOVE it so far. Maybe you can do a search for both on here and see what you find in terms of reviews etc.

I have never been to Chateau Briand, so I can't comment abou them, but my mom got married at Larkfield Manor and everything was awesome. The food, service, ceremony-not one complaint.

I haven't been to Chateau in a while, but everything at Larkfield has been updated- and I've heard the food is excellent.....they were one of our top choices but b/c of the distance for us we wound up not choosing them......I vote for Larkfield!!

I have never been to larkfield manor but I love Chateau Briand. We are using Chateau and we couldn't be happier.

what are each of your reasons for liking the places? maybe sit down with fh and go over both until u both agree? or maybe even re-visit the places again. or maybe go with the one that has the better package if u really like both places. it helps to envision your day in your head...which place are u at...which one is more u etc...

Definitely Larkfield Manor!! I went to a wedding about 5 years ago at CB and wasn't crazy about the food. I'm sure things could've changed, but I know LM is amazing in every which way!

I've been to both and well I think they are both VERY different. Larkfield Manor was my second choice and I absolutely love it! You more or less have the whole place to yourself, where as Chateau may have a few other parties going on. The prices I was quoted were significantly different, but either way Larkfield is my favorite of the two!

FH and I looked at 5 places, Chateau was our favorite, the food is excellent and the rooms are awesome..If you have any questions about Chateau Briand let me know.Good luck

I have been to 2 weddings at Larkfield Manor and none at the Chateau Briand. I wasnt very happy with the service at the Larkfield Manor....rude people, reaching across the table to clear off plates, taking your food without asking if you were done.......That really did it for me. So my vote is for the Chateau Briand. I have heard so many wonderful things about there, and when we went to talk to them the people were absoutly amazing.
