Last fitting/ Picking Up Dress?

Last fitting/ Picking Up Dress?

How long is your last fitting before your wedding and how long before the wedding are you picking up your dress? And lastly- if they are at different times- are you trying your dress on when you pick it up before you bring it home? I am confused on this.

My last fitting was the week before my wedding. I picked up the dress the day before the wedding and i just looked it over but did not try it on.

same here. once it's pressed, I was told you shouldn't try it on again, because it could get wrinkled or something.

My last fitting was the Monday before my Saturday wedding. I picked it up on the Thursday before the wedding. I didn't try it on when I picked it up, I just looked at it to make sure it was MINE and that everything I wanted done was done (ie, added button, sew hole.. etc) I then hung it up in my den so it wouldn't get wrinkled!
