I like my FH husband's last name better than mine so I am happy about the change. I still think it will take some getting use to and I will always feel like my maiden name is a part of me.

Your maiden name will ALWAYS be a part of you....changing your last name doesnt change you as a person...UNLESS you are hiding from the fed's!!!!!![]()

I really love my last name now bc it's unique, but it always gets mispronounced/butchered and I won't have that problem with FH's so I'm looking forward to that aspect.

While I do love my maiden name, my married name will be so much easier for people to pronounce and spell, so that's a relief!

Me too!! Im going from 10 letters to 7 letters but hope that it makes a difference on my license. My first initial is the only thing there so maybe I can get the whole first name in there too! We shall see!
