Last night's Presidential address...

I want to preface this post by saying that I am not expressing ANY political views or opinions regarding nuclear war or the war with Iraq. Just asking a general question.

Did anyone else realize that our president cannot pronounce the word NU-CLE-AR correctly??
Throughout his speech, he consistently said
NU-CU-LAR. I could not stop laughing at him! I find it so difficult to accept that our president, the leader of the free world, cannot perfect his pronunciation of the English language. I just had to vent.

By the way, are you sure it wasnt on the major channels, it was on every major channel you can think of down here in FL!

The White House media office did not press the networks to show it - it was up to each network. Some local affiliates opted to show it in some areas, others chose to stick with regular programing. I think that Fox was the only broadcast network to show it across the country, in addition to several cable networks.
