last time for invite wording help...

Ok, i posted this before, so now i changed a few things... please let me know if i need any punctuation etc... this is exactly how it will appear, so i need honest opinions. Also, I left out the reception hall, because i will have a reception card... is that ok? oh and my invites are a little different, so i have a page on the left side that's empty. below the invite wording i posted a poem. Please let me know if you think it's ok as well...thanks!!!!

by friendship and love

at the marriage of their daughter
Jennifer Marie *****

Reception to follow

POEM:

This day for us is special, a time beyond compare
The joy we feel deep in our hearts
We hope you will come and share
Your presence there with us
Means more than words can say
Join us as we

Re: last time for invite wording help...

I didn't do a reception card because my ceremony & wedding are at the same place - but should the time of the reception be listed on the reception card or the invite?

Yes, this is correct - the reception info should all go on the reception card. Technically only ceremony information should go on the actual invitation because that is what you are inviting your guests to.

i would have someone double-check, but should it read:

Reception to follow
at half past seven in the evening

instead of at 'a' half???
