i wanted saturday but it was too expensive
so we're doing friday and is my dad's bday so that should be good luck

My wedding is going to be all in Spanish...so yeah, everything!! FH and i are planning a choreographer first dance to be a mix of all the spanish music we like for ex. cumbia, merengue, musica nacional, bachata, etc etc...we can't wait to start practicing!!

im having a reading in spanish
programs will be bilingual

for the cocktail hour
added empanadas, paella, and pernil

for the reception
basically my dj (elegancia)
my mc will be bilingual and we're having a lot of salsa, merengue, etc...

had to add..
the whole wedding isnt spanish since my fh is Irish/ Italian

OH how nice!!! Yeah, I'm marrying a total GRINGO!! We are doing one of the readings in Spanish. We are doing a traditinal slow dance to and American song and they we are surprising everyone and dancing 'Las Sevillanas' which is a type of flamenco dance from Sevilla where I'm from.

My mom is wearing una peineta y mantilla. I made the mistake if posting it on one of the chat discussions and everyone wigged out because they though my mom was wearing a veil to my wedding. I couldn't make them understand what it was.

I think we are going to try and incorporate las monedas into the ceremony as well. And of course we will be playing american, Latin and Spanish music!!

pernil... ...i had it for lunch today it hit the SPOT!
