I never really wanted any other name besides Kathleen

But whats funny is that my mom named me Kathleen because that is the name she always wanted when she was little...She is named after her aunt and grandmother and she hates her name

My BF (MOH) and I go out on the town and make up names...and careers...it's great...try it sometime.

She works for the NYPublic Library, and her name's Alaina Marie....

When we're out: she's a Math teacher, and her name's Mariealaina

Me on the other hand:

Okay, I just have to tell you guys that I almost ended up Barbie instead of Beth. I am Jewish, and so my parents wanted to name me with a 'B' after my aunt Bessie. Let me tell you, I am sooooo glad I'm not Barbie!!

I hated my name - Marlo. I used to get teased all the time, that it was a boy name.

When I was young, I wanted to be DJ... after DJ on full house!! My FAV show back then... still love watching the re-runs (torture for FH).

I wanted to be a Stephanie when I was little. That would be my name when we would play house. I wanted to be Michelle Pfeiffer from Grease 2.

that's so funny because my name is Stephanie and I hate it (for me)!!!! And, I wanted my name to be Sandy (as in Sandy from Grease 1)

I'm still trying to figure out what my parents were thinking giving me an original name!! My brothers have normal names, Michael and Dennis!!

I ended up being named after my grandmothers (Juanita and Lee) and Juanita gets translated into Joanna, so they removed the O and thus you have my name.

My mother got pissed when one of my cousins, born a month after me was given a similar name because my grandmother suggested it!!

So I am Janna Lee and my cousins name is Janavee!!!
