OK about 2 onths ago i lent one of my pretty Bebe shirts to my friend to wear to a bar...
Two months later...i still have not gotten back my shirt.. I tried calling her saying i need it for a b-day party When she didn't return it i yelled at her jokingly about not having back yet
and STILL NOW NO SHIRT....
Has anyone else had this problem? ANd how did you handle it?

Re: lending clothing
I hate when that happens. Bri always borrows clothes from me and I never get them back. They disapear into thin air.

Re: lending clothing
Maybe you can call her and say you really need it for a party that night and go and pick it up. Don't ask for it, just TELL her you are coming to pick it up....and to leave it with someone in the family or in the mailbox if she's not home....

Re: lending clothing
Is this like one of those made-up questions you see in 'YM' Magazine??
I'm not very good about sharing/lending my clothing--for the exact reason you described! I'm very particular about my clothes, I can't risk having them disappear!

I hear ya but think of it this way - the longer she has it, the longer you don't. I'd just go get it and never lend her a thing again.

Re: lending clothing
no, I'm too dorky to lend out my clothes. No one wants them. I do, however, lend out books, and for some reason, it's nearly impossible to get them back. But, I just keep calling and emailing until the person can't take the pain anymore. Then, I get my stuff back!

Re: lending clothing
I agree that you should go to her house and pick it up. I understand that she borrowed it and she should return it to you. However, if you want something done, you have to do it yourself! Then make a mental not to never lend anything to her again.

Re: lending clothing
his is the only reason why my sister and I don't get along. Growing up she was always borrowing my clothes without asking and even lending them to her friends. I worked since I was 13 to buy my own clothes (my parents only gave us like $100 a year for new clothes )and she would take new clothes before I ever had a chance to wear them. Even now when she borrows something I know I will never see it again. The only way to beat these people are to stop letting them borrow your clothes. I once had a friend avoid giving me a dress back. After months of asking she finally came clean... she ripped it! So maybe she shrunk it, ripped it, stained it... and is afraid to tell you.
