has anyone gotten a call that they changed the menu??????

FHs co-worker is having her reception there in 3 months and they called her to tell her that they changed the menu..

dont know details yet but i am dying to find out...

does it say on the contract that they can do that??!!

When I went for my meeting with Ian he told us about some changes, there wasn't really anything major though.

Yea and Venetian Hour. I can't remember the changes off the top of my head.

They changed some of the CH options. To me it seems like they cut out a lot of the meat and replaced them with vegetables (cheaper for them, same price for us). I'm not too happy about this.

ETA: I'm your FH's co-worker! Lol! I'll bring him a copy of the changes tomorrow for you.

Actually, I noticed a lot more meats on the CH menu than before, but they did amp up the veggies too and added an extra pasta if Im not mistaken

Ok. i will have to call and find out and get a copy of the menu. or maybe I should wait until it gets closer in case they change it again.

Fhs co-worker said it was replacing meat with veggies. i will have to see for myself.

Actually, I noticed a lot more meats on the CH menu than before, but they did amp up the veggies too and added an extra pasta if Im not mistaken

I did too. They added linguine and clams....yummy! We were supposed to have that added originally so we said since it's standard now can you add something else and we wound up getting an extra meat at our carving station.

The banana split station sounds delicious!!! So do the bindi cakes/pies?

Actually the changed worked in our favor too.. we ended up getting a couple of free things because they werent on the old menu and they are on the new one.. the only we had to pay for was the extra course (1st course) cause we wanted the pasta and salad for sure.. and he gave us a really good price for it.. only 2pp extra... and the VH! I CANT WAIT FOR IT!! The cotton candy station?! and the zeppoles!!!

wait..I'm confused...you had to pay extra to have the pasta and salad? In my orginal menu we had a salad and pasta and then the meal..I am hoping we will still have that..

i was on the cantebury menu too... can someone possibly fax the new menu to me or email it to me? I just tried getting in touch with my banquet manager, but of course, no one returns your calls or provides any help if you can't speak to your BM.
