Leonards Girls - Please Help
(i apologize but I also posted this on other boards. I´m going through a mini breakdown b.c I dont´know what to do and need to make a decision today!!) ![]()

I need help!! I was all set to book Leonards today. (well to send my parents in since I´m in Ecuador) But I have an issue.
I was offered the Empire Room because we were only going to have 50 - 60 people. However, it looks like we may actually end up getting 75 - 90 people. In a post I read I heard that they felt cramped at a wedding they went to with 8 people per table. I was thinking of doing 6 (leonards allows this) because some of my family is on the chunky side. If I have 85 and do 6p/table I need 14 tables. This does not fit in the Empire room. I was told that max you could only put 10 tables in that room (My sister said that when she saw it with 8 tables it looked like you could only fit 1 more comfotably and that would be pushing it). Even at 10 tables that would be more than 8 people at some tables!!
I know that I had heard of other people on here having weddings for less than 100 people where they gave them the Continental Room or some other room. However, I´m being told that they coudn´t do it unless I guarantee 100!!
Two questions: 1) am i wrong?? Didn´t some of you guarantee less than 100 in a room other than the empire room??
2) have any of you had/been to a wedding in the empire room? How cramped would it be with 10 tables? Also how cramped are the small tables (the ones they say fit 8-10)?
I´m so sorry this is so long but it´s so hard planning this being so far away. I hate not being able to see the place and everyone in my fam has different opinions (none of them have seen the room set up with chairs, etc) I hope someone can help!!! (and hopefully soon!)
