Initially i was gonna do the same thing- just take them at Leonards- but the photog is right- i wont be the only bride there..lol

I mean the park is 2 blocks away from my house.. but its just a BLA park..lolol

I read in a older Leonards thread that Leonards is very good with not letting other brides see each other so im confident they would be very careful not to have brides see each other while taking pictures. The only park by me is Flushing Meadows park so i may go there not a 100% sure yet. I'm going to look at past Leonards threads to see what other brides recommend.

Planting Fields looks BEAUTIFUL..

Would you know if there is a fee for that?

I know the queens botanical wants $150 for pic taking..

Stepping Stone Park is in Great Neck. I used to go there as a kid. I'm not sure if they allow wedding pics to be taken but it's worth a call.

ETA: This park is on the water and overlooks LI Sound.

The guy we dealt with Antonio mentioned the same thing..
We have yet to be set up with a banquet manager who will be handling final details. Should they have contacted me by now??

We thought of flushing meadow too.. Like i said.. Astoria park is 2 blocks away.. but i am not too crazy about it.. its just a plain ol park..lol

Since you are in May they shouldve contacted you, i know when you have to go over final details you meet with Ian. I would call them just to see whats going on.

I dont like Astoria park too noisy lol. Flushing Meadow is okay but it can be a bit crazy on the weekends so i really dont know, maybe by the lake where its more quiet.

I called stepping stone- if you are not a resident of great neck the fee is $125.00 i think i may drive by just to take a peek and i will let you girls know how it is..

Not bad at all, it has a museum on site so i think they require a donation.
