Leonards of Great Neck Question

Hi Ladies,

I wanted some opinions from those of you that have been to Leonards. We are having our reception there and I am totally thrilled with it, except for one thing...the dance floor. We have the main floor rooms, (I forget the names right now) and I am kind of nervous about the dance floor. The down stairs room is the only room with the wooden dance floor and carpeting. We wanted that room, but it is already booked. So, my concern is will people be slipping on their tiling when they get up to dance? More importantly...will I be the one to land on my butt? Any advice or anyone that has been there for an occasion that could offer some words of wisdom, would be greatly appreciate!

Re: Leonards of Great Neck Question

My FBIL just got married and had the reception at Leonard's. They were upstairs and it was all tile. To my knowledge nobody slipped or fell. It was just fine and what a great wedding, BTW. I think everything will be perfect. I wouldnt worry about it HTH.

Now I don't know for sure, but I would assume it would not be a problem.
First, they wouldn't be such a successful hall if people were constantly falling down on the dance floor. Second, these places are in the business of avoiding law suits and I think that if people were always slipping on their floors, they would have their share of trouble.
If this really worries you, maybe you could go over there and try it out. Throw on some heels and dance it up as a test
I think it'll be just fine
