Less than 60 days to go! Panicking!

Hi Ladies!

I need a little help. I have less than 2 months left and I still have not decided on favors. Any suggestions? What are the best favors you have received from attending a wedding.

I also am trying to think of one more gift for my girls. I already got them converse to wear during the reception but I would like to give them one more thing.

I am doing converse as well, I was also thinking about something cute to get ready in. Such as a robe, sweatshirt (zip up) or something that we could all match for the getting ready part of the wedding. :)

i got wine glass charms before it was cute and helpful when pppl come over and put their glass down and walkaway.
i got use out of the measuring spoons that has the cute sayings on them
you could never go wrong with an edible favor like little boxes of godiva or some chocolate

I'm 35 days away, ahh!!! We're doing edible favors. Two of our favorite cookies. One is an Ecuadorian pastry and the other is a rainbow cookie. Found a company in Middle Village to do it. We actually have a tasting on Sunday. And as gifts for the girls I bought them their accessories for the day that are vintage and personalized. I got my son converse as part his ring bearer, the flower girl her dress and I'm still thinking about the family in the bridal party. Time is flying and I'm just trying to find gifts that are special.

best favor i ever got was a set of 4 espresso cups i also like getting candy bowl/dish type favors...stuff that is functional

I am doing some pretty candles I found at Home Goods (I traveled to about 7 stores all over Long Island but I got them all!) I am going to wrap them in some pretty organza bags and then perhaps do a tag or ribbon with our names and wedding date on them. And I may throw some personalized m & m on the tables or jordan almonds at everyone's place setting in small organza bags too but I'm not sure yet.

I'm 65 days to go! For favors I'm doing stainless steel martini shakers with a mini bottle of Grey goose and olive pick.

For my girls I got them Kate Spade bridesmaid bangles, a coach cosmetic bag filled with goodies and I'm paying for their hair and makeup to be done. I'm getting my MOH a little something extra bc she's throwing me a shower and the other girls aren't chipping in!?!?

thanks ladies for all of your suggestions. I'm goign to look into the mini wine or champagne bottles and for my girls i really like the kate spade bangles or I may pay for their makeup.

My fiancé and I are going to donate to a charity in lieu of a favor and just have little cards stating where we've donated to on the tables for the wedding. Since you're a Spring wedding you can always do seed packets for wildflowers or specific flower seeds. Sorta like a 'watch our love grow' thing!

Chelseaelena those are such great ideas! I was just thinking about favors the other day and I've been feeling like I don't want to do them at all, but these are both great thoughts. I especially love the charity donation idea.

I am doing macarons. Buying boxes from Trader Joes and putting them together myself.

I was thinking of getting sugar cookies shaped like wedding dresses for my favors.

We got bottle openers as our favor. I got my girls beach totes, robes, jewelry to wear that day, tumblers and a bottle of wine. I still need to get my MOH something special.

We will be getting cookies and also donating to a charity. On the favor tag we will say what charity we donated to.

My FH is a volunteer firefighter/EMT so we donated to the Stony Brook University Burn center and we are both from military families so we are donating to the Wounded Warrior project.

I bought my girls (8 of them) canvas tote bags with their names stitched on. I will put their wedding jewelry, a DIY travel coffee mug I made, a lotion/bodywash set, nail polish, a pedicure kit, compact mirror and a big box of candy in each bag.

My Maid of honor and matron of honor will be getting a rose gold 'knot' necklace for helping me tie the knot.
