If you went into a pharmacy and the technician said 'OK, your prescription will be about 15 minutes or so', what would your reaction be?
That I would get it within 15 minutes or so?
okay. wait for 15 min and it should be ready.. no?
That is take about 15 mins before they call my name and they must not be that busy tonight because I usually get 30-40mins

If i am not mistaken you work in great neck... i work there.... ummmmm not shocked. tough crowed sometimes... Just like anywhere but.. when its bad its bad!! You probably talk to our pharmacy girl all the time!

then after 10 minutes i'd start to stand near the counter so that the pharmacist didn't forget about me
after 15 minutes, then i'm going to start getting annoyed.
that's just me though - i'm pretty impatient.
people are crazy though - i'm sorry your experiences there have been stinky!
Id be so happy to have it ready that quick!

But Lisa,
THis is before she had to wait AT ALL.
Then she came back to yell at me because she heard me on the phone with another patient.
Honestly, I probably would have had it done in about 7 minutes, but you can't TELL people that because if GOD FORBID the phone rings or you have to make an adjustment or a phone call while you're filling the Rx and it goes to 8 or 9 minutes they *****.
I just can't win.
People, treat your pharmacy staff nicely. It'll pay off.
