Lets all do something 'warm and fuzzy' (help terminally ill children?) as a group for the holidays!

I know the Charity Boards dont get NEARLY as many views or posts as this board, so I'll post a link to my suggestion......

Help a Charity - ALL OF US TOGETHER ! =)

I just got another idea!
With the 'brides' mentioned, I thought of (for part of this 'Day') putting makeup on the girls to make them feel like princesses for a day I think theyd LOVEEE that!

So what times/days are good for everyone?
I guess the best bet would be to contact these places and see whats best for them.

Well we should decide do we want to visit

kids, nursing homes, babies, burn unit, aids etc.

How about kids cancer dept, wonder if Hospital will let us visit with the kids?

I think it's a great idea. You might want to check some charity organizations like 'have a heart' and see if they need volunteers for the holidays.

In December we go to Little Flower (out east)for the Motorcycle Toy Run

wacky, I really wanted to make sure I wasnt breaking rules with Ron talk of raising money..its all in good faith, so im sure he wont be against it.

It's very interesting that you posted this. We, LIWeddings.com and NYCityWeddings.com, have already been planning to do something for children with cancer and I just met with them today, Suffolk County Coalition Against Domestic Violence. I was going to make an announcement sometime next week but figured I'd give you a heads up now!

I already contacted Haveaheart. So if they call me back, I can try to arrange something with my moms club with them...

What type of function, activities, etc?

The coalition is a great organization, these poor kids and moms live in shelters, because their fathers are lunatics.

If all is sane at that moment in my life, I would definately want to be a part of this!

I think this is a wonderful idea and would be honored to be counted as a part of the group.
