Let's boycot Mobil & Exxon

If everyone stops buying gas from these 2 companies (the largest companies) they will be forced to lower there prices .. if they do everyone else will too..

YOU NEED GAS TO RUN YOUR CAR. Whether it's Exxon or Mobil, you will still be buying gas...

there are other companies that are smaller and we need to show them the consumer controlls the market place not the seller

I love your train of thought...but trust me sweetie this is much bigger than the 'consumer'...it goes all the way to the top (as in White House).

On related news, President Bush approved release of the reserves.

This gas 'problem' will be here for a while.

Oh no, I agree...there's power in numbers (and I always buy Sunoco) but sadly, this is BIGGER than us...and I think it comes out of Texas...there are a lot of rich men who invest in oil these days...

I REFUSE to buy from them anyway because they are ALWAYS more money! Why buy from them when I can get it cheaper?

I got 2 emails, dont buy gas on 9/1 or 9/10. I dont know how much of a difference it will make but Ill give it a shot.

gas prices today make me want to throw UP!

I just saw a BP station on CNN in Atlanta that's price gouging, $5.87 for REGULAR!

yeah this definetly goes as far as the white house...something needs to be done. instead of our president worrying about his vacation days at his texas ranch...he should open his eyes and see whats going on around his country.

Yeah I saw that too!

I passed a BP station before and there were lines up Jericho turnpike for $2.89! I hear they are thinking of rationing gasoline now.

EHHHHH when I saw Bush with his 'tan' on the TV saying that everything will get better and from this hurricane crisis new communities will be built...etc. as he flies over the destruction in his private jet it's easy to say that!

Where did you see that station for $2.89?? I'll wait, I just paid $3.19 and I thought that was a bargain!

I will not be getting gas from Mobil or Exxon anyway; I always find them to be way over expensive than the others. I am a Sunoco and Getty fan.

No Mobil or Exxon for me.

And besides, even if there is a teeny, tiny chance it will make a difference, at least I know I helped......
