LETS SPEAK HYPOTHETICALLY FOR A SEC...(with poll)

So HYPOTHETICALLY speaking, lets say you book a vendor, sign a contract, leave a deposit (only like $100 or so) and then later (by accident, not bcuz u were looking) u find ANOTHER vendor that u like EVEN more!
What would you do?

If it is only $100 I would cancel and get the vendor I wanted more

for only $100 i would cancel the current vendor and go with the new vendor, but let the original vendor keep the deposit.

if I really wanted the new vendor I would cancel and let them keep the money.

Id cancel for 100 bucks if you are going to be happiest with the other vendor! Good luck! (if this isn't hypothetical )

I would cancel if you really want but then maybe you can ask for your deposit back and see if they are willing to give it back.

Mady - who are you canceling?

for $100 i would say go with the one you really love. If its $500 or more then i would say suck it up...which is what I am goign to have to do with one of my venders

If it were that little, I wouldnt fight over the deposit.

If I am losing only $100 then I would cancel the vendor and make sure 100% that I want the new vendor.

I would eat the $100 deposit. But I would definately make sure that this new vendr was 100% what I was looking for!

I booked with Pretige in the Bridal Building and I was sooo unhappy with them after spending A LOT of $$$ but I think its more important to be happy with your vendors on your wedding day than abt deposits, payments etc.

I wouldnt worry about the money and go with the other vendor!

i'd prob cancel, TRY to get the deposit back, and deal if i didn't.

I would go with whoever you are the most comfortable with - you want them for a reason - and if its only $100 i'd ask for my $$ back from the vendor and if they give it great, if not - not too bad only $100

it's only $100, I would def cancel, you're spending so much on the wedding you might as well be happy with your vendors, I wouldn't let $100 stop me

the $100 is not too much to lose if you found an even better option elsewhere. i wouldn't insist on getting the deposit back.. i would ask if its refundable and be cool about it if they say no.

I cancelled my first band and they kept the 200$ deposit. They did nothing wrong for me to demand my money back I just changed my mind, these things happen.

I would cancel the vendor - see if you could get the deposit back and if not - just let them keep it and book with the other

I voted for 'cancel and demand the deposit back'...but what I would actually do is cancel and ASK for the deposit back, maybe I'll get atleast some of the money back.
