Lets talk first dance as husband and wife!

So in emails today with my friends we had an intresting converstation about the first dance as husband and wife.

I plan on dancing just me and FH because one I find it so romantic and who wants to share the dance floor on your first dance with everyone else. Plus it gives you a few mins where noone is going to pull you in 1000 directions. And also how much are the 2 of you going to be together alone.

The other side was they didnt want to be up on the floor with everyone staring for 5 mins.

So poll question what are you planning to do with your first dance? Why are you reasons discuss

I will be taking the spot light. This will be the first time that FH and I will have danced together (unless we dance at a couple of weddings coming up). I want that moment of just him and I.

I HATE being in the spotlight!!!! We are going to dance for like a minute and a half alone and then we are inviting the BP up.

eff that I'm hogging the spotlight! LOL

You only get to do that first dance once and everyone who is married already had their turn, so we're taking ours!

FH wants to do a whole routine w PROPS. I'm not joking. I may just stand there and point and laugh while he does this so I dont have to be included. Sigh.

Guaranteed he chickens out last minute.

we've learning salsa though so maybe a short time w our song - short time w the salsa and done.

We are going to do our entire 1st dance alone then the music will change to something a little more upbeat and the bridal party and all couples will join us. We included all of the couples because our bridal party is uneven.

I love the spotlight but FH, not so much.

I hate the spotlight...but...many photographers prefer you guys dance solo so that they have the best scenario to get awesome photos.

He's already started designing some 'Salsa for Dummies' scroll chart thing that his uncle is supposed to come out and bring us once this salsa music starts. and then there's bongos and maracas involved.

You guys do not have a clue to how insane this biy is.
