So in emails today with my friends we had an intresting converstation about the first dance as husband and wife.
I plan on dancing just me and FH because one I find it so romantic and who wants to share the dance floor on your first dance with everyone else. Plus it gives you a few mins where noone is going to pull you in 1000 directions. And also how much are the 2 of you going to be together alone.
The other side was they didnt want to be up on the floor with everyone staring for 5 mins.
So poll question what are you planning to do with your first dance? Why are you reasons discuss

FH wants to do a whole routine w PROPS. I'm not joking. I may just stand there and point and laugh while he does this so I dont have to be included. Sigh.
Guaranteed he chickens out last minute.
we've learning salsa though so maybe a short time w our song - short time w the salsa and done.

I am still on the fence about this....I dont want everyone staring at us for 5 mins lol and everyone says that it seems like so much longer becuase everyone is staring at you and you start feeling awkward but then again.. its tru thats its your time to be 'alone' on the dance floor with your new hubby...

We plan on dancing a few minutes and then allow everyone else to join in. We cannot dance together we are so no in sync. It's like we both have 2 left feet! hehe

I wouldnt mind hogging the spot light- but my FH is a
social phobe- the attention makes him nervous and self
conscience ....so to spare him after 2 mins everyone can
join

I hate the spotlight normally, but this is my wedding day I want everyone staring at me for as long as they want!!! :)
