Ok, so how many of you 2009 brides who just tied the knot - ended up going OVER your budget? If so, by how much?

We also didn't have a budget and paid for everything ourselves.

If I sat here and tallied everything up, I think I'd have a breakdown. We spent alot more than I ever thought I'd spend.

We never had a budget....I just spent like crazy and at the end it was okay b/c I know what we have and what we could afford.

I didn't vote because we didn't have a budget to go over. I felt that I knew what was a fair price to pay and I made decisions accordingly.

I never set a budget. Just got what i wanted if i thought the price was right.
I still didn't come up with a total. Just paid for everything as we when. I have to come up with total one day. I'm to scared...

We didn't have a budget...we just knew what we felt was acceptable and unacceptable for ourselves to pay, and tried to stay as close to that as possible. I had an idea for a total nut in my head, and we did end up surpassing that nut, but I also included our minimoon in the wedding budget, so if I took that out I'd still be over but only slightly.
