liar photographer on the loose!!!

has anyone ever heard of this chick?

long story short, she came to my wedding to take pics for free and has promised to send them for over 2 months and has given me an excuse every week (or every other) as to why I haven't received them. i know i can't expect much for free, but if you only saw the emails from her. lie after incredibley ridiculous lie.

i'll be posting them on our wedsite soon in case anyone wants a good laugh.

it was free because she is trying to build her wedding portfolio. i first heard from her on craigslist when i posted an ad looking for a creative & edgy photographer. she responded & offered to take pics for $600. i declined because all she sent me were three photos of her work which didnt give me any idea of what she was offering.

the following month, a b-t-b here posted this chick's craiglist ad offering free photography, so i thought, wth.

there is no other way i can get in touch with her other than that stinkin email address!!!! i dont even know her stinkin last name.

so, if anyone knows anything about this chick, PLEASE let me know. i would greatly appreciate it.

I'm so sorry thats terrible- maybe you should contact the BBB and seven on your side to see if they can help you. I hope you get your pictures soon!

Didn't you sign a contract or something?? Did you know this person that well to not get any info from them?

Sorry to hear what happened.

I'm assuming she wasn't your only photographer and that you just said WTH I'll let you come to my wedding and take pics.

That being said...if she were really trying to build up her porfolio you think she'd do a better job of sending you the pics so you could rave rather than rant.

Nothing is ever FREE...especially when you're a bride.

Wow that is just horrible!
I'm hoping that this is not your only photographer.

we had a similair situation for our epics and eparty - we had a photographer take pics of us for free so she could use them for her portfolio - we tipped her and we received all of our proofs - now we are on her website - and even Pumpkin our dog is on her site as well so for us it worked out great.....what are her excuses? it took awhile for me to receive my proofs (a few weeks) not a few months!

well - I'd still be mad - she wasted your time and you prob had to pay for dinner for her. That stinks, I'm sorry!!!

Why don't you have a friend e-mail her and pose as a potential new 'client' and try and make contact with her that way? Maybe then you can get a phone number or something more. I don't blame you , I would still try to recover them. Thankfully she wasn't your main photographer!

not only dinner for her, but her so called assistant who stood there like a freak the whole night.

AND we tipped them $200!!! what for????

it might be a little obvious considering how many times i've emailed her in the past 24 hours.....

only 3, but still....i have her phone number at home. i lost it a while ago - asked her for it over email a half dozen times to which she made more excuses for but i luckily just found it over the weekend. i've been saving it...i need a good plan to call her. i cant just call and ask for my pics. it hasnt worked over email

and she thinks i dont have her number....unless she's changed it by now?

i want to do something very wrong.....she's been nothing but unprofessional & just plain annoying....wait until i post her pathetic emails...you guys are going to wonder how i held back this whole time!!! well, cuz she still aint send m'pics!
