lighting help

After 7 months of living in our house - I am still looking for a light fixture for our dining room.

I want something 'different'.

here is the room:

its very hard to tell from these pics - but the room is VERY airy and light. The walls are very light and so really the cherry wood is the only color in the room. I want to keep it monotone like that - the wall unti we get will also be white - all decorations will be white/off white.

So the chandelier can be the centerpeice - I am into color - funk, traditional - whatever....(I even thought about buying a crystal chandlier and painting some of the crystals myself)

While Surfing the net - this caught my eye yesterday, the color is amber:

Do you like this? If not - I am open to ideas. How hard is it to paint a chandelier - anyone know??

Re: lighting help

Chadelier painting is very easy! Just buy a good spray paint and go!
