I would have lights if I was having an evening wedding. But lights won't be seen at mine (day wedding).

ETA: So we're not getting lights.

It's a night wedding, so I feel without them the room could be kind of dark and dull.

We're getting the basic light package from our DJ and he said it gets a little dark w/o the lights (we got the lights thrown in for free so its not like he was even trying to sell them to us). We want to have dim lighting in our room so we figured the lights would just add a little something extra to the dance floor.

I love the way the lights look on the dance floor and I think it helps get people out on the dance floor. I don't think they look too clubbish.

I am a Body Rock DJ gal too - we didn't book the lights however, i did see them in person - and i dont think they'll be too cluby. its completly a personal choice. IMO, lights do nothing for me - plus, we are pretty much having older, married people at our wedding who won't notice either way! regardless, I am sure you made a good choice for yourselves!
