Love them, they get very busy on the weekends.

Had my BM dresses a LOT cheaper than any place else.

Didn't get my gown there though, already had it.

I had a good experience there. I dealt with Lydia and she spent almost 2 hours with me. I am going back it 2 weeks to order my dress. They met and beat Macy's price.

Got my Wedding gown there. They were very helpful, seamstress was wonderful (can't remember her name though ).
I have nothing bad to say.

We went there to look at BM dresses and they were VERY helpful. I went on Sunday to try on bridal gowns and ended up leaving after 45 min of waiting for all 4 sales people to place other folks orders...

You're best bet is to go on a weekday or on a weekend when they first open - it's a small shop & they get busy quick!

I love Lillette's. I bought my gown there and we are going back over the summer to order BM dresses. My appointment was with Carol. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she found 10 gowns that were similar. She also pulled some BM dresses for my girls to try on. We were there for hours! Definitely go during the week if you can. We went on a Monday and we were the only ones there.

ETA: You must have an appointment to try on bridal gowns.

i bought my gown there and used Lytia too. she was really nice and spent a lot of time making sure i tried on a variety of dresses. they are VERY affordable and i hear that the seamstresses are wonderful!

I was there last week to try on dresses, found THE one. I did get quotes from other places (online stores) that were only $100-200 less than what Lillette's price was.

I had bought a BM dress there about 9 yrs ago as the bride also bought her dress there too.

I also know of about 3-4 others that bought their bridal gowns fom there within the past 3-5 years.

They had various experieces, but it happened to be with the seamstresses. That is of a concern to me, but as I said, those concerns were 3-5 yrs ago.

Thanks so much guys, this is a huge help. I get nervous when I am interested in a store/vendor that I never had heard of but your reviews have put me at ease!

Love Lilletts!!!!! I dealt with Kathy and she was AWESOME!!!!! Bilge was my seamstress, she was also great!

They were great! Unfortunatley I didn't find my gown there and when I found the dress I wanted they were unable to get it (but they def. tried). They were a pleasure to deal with and I wish I had found my dress there!

My rants from when I was there was that they booked an appt., but then were too busy to help us and the dresses are all over the place- no organization.


I know a lot of girls had positive experiences there and I am sure they are wonderful, I just couldn't deal with going in to look for BM dresses and to not have each designer's dresses together.

Bought my dress there. Liked the part where I bought the dress did not like the seamstress part. They are owned by different people. I think I posted on here somewhere about my seamstress dilema.

i got my dresss there and the BM dresses too. they have been nothing but wonderful. you need to make an appt to try on gowns. i would definately recommend them

I didnt make an appt. I walked in had to wait a while but still got in. On a side note mom bought her wedding gown there 34 years ago.

I think Lilettes in Baldwin has the most experienced and wonderful sales staff.

Especially Christina, she has the talent to know what will look good on you and is obviously very talented....she really knows her stuff... she is also a fashion designer and is very experienced and knowlegeable.

They are extremely helpful and have a wonderful selection.....make sure to make an appointment in order to get the optimal attention......
