Lilettes in Baldwin - Any Rants? Raves?

LOVED Lillettes!! Christina was awesome! I was almost done trying on dresses and she says she thinks one came in that would look good on me. Then she pulled out MY DRESS!!! She was great EVERYTIME I went!

I already had a seamstress that I knew, so I didn't get alterations there.

I LOVED Lilettes also. After trying on dresses at soooo many places, I walked in here and immediately liked it! It was busy (I was there on a Saturday), but Carol really took her time to help me and I would up finding the ONE there!!!

They didn't carry my BM dresses there (they are Vera Wang), but if they did, I would've ordered them there in a heartbeat!

I am also going to bring my Mom there to look for her dress!!!!!

ETA: I also liked that I didn't feel like the price of the marble floors and chandleirs at the store were included in the price of my dress!!!

I loved this place too...found my dress there! Even though I haven't officially ordered it. Kathy, the owner spent so much time with me about 2 1/2 hours. My mom and I were so impressed!!!

They are SUCH professionals and so NICE!

I bought my dress at Lilettes. They were wonderful. I worked with Gerri who is so sweet and the seamstress was Paula. She did an amazing job.

I didn't like it there at all. When I was shopping for my gown, I made an appointment and still had to wait, a long time. Their dressing rooms, IMO, are really crappy. The whole store and staff seemed very disorganized and unattentive. The store was mobbed and a total mess. Sorry, not my vision of how I wanted to shop for my wedding gown. That was my experience anyway.

Even after that, I went back because I thought I could get my Lazaro BM gowns cheaper there. Well, yes, they were selling them for ONE DOLLAR cheaper than my bridal salon. I waited for about an hour for someone to tell me that that day. And then when, they told me, it was in between a phone conversation with someone else that the woman finally turned to me and said it in a very exasperated voice as if I had just asked her for a discount or something. Then went right back to her phone call. All I asked was the price of the gowns. She went right back to her phone conversation and never even asked me if I wanted them.

I walked right out and we paid more money (1 whole dollar more per dress) for far far better service at another salon.

But, that was just MY experience there.

I went there today and had Carol! She was phenomenal and so patient with me ... she had me in atleast 15 dresses (all were gorgeous).

Heres my dilemna though...they don't have My Dress that I want so they tried to have me try on other dresses to change my mind but my mind is set, they can order the dress but the size and length i need doesnt need any alterations at all, just a bustle. I'm debating about whether i should order it from Estelles where i found it or Lilletes.

But they are very nice and have gorgeous dresses. I think it sound sliek you need to go during the week, I was the only one there today and I was there about 2 hours.
