I also didn't have the greatest experience there... I was a BM in another wedding... and I thought the alterations were ridiculous over priced... all I needed was a hem, and it taken in... b/c they ordered a size that was way too big on me...

I work in the fashion industry... and I was flipping out paying a ridiculous amount of money... That I knew takes 30 mins to fix... LITERALLY...

Anyway... they weren't the nicest there...

I don't know if it is a rule everywhere... But they wouldn't let my FH like anywhere in the place b/c there were brides running all around... It made both him and I very uncomfortable...

ANYWAYS... I see lots of brides have had great experiences...

Maybe they treat their brides better then the BM b/c they know they have the BM's business...

Did you say anything about the alterations being overpriced? I ask because I will be going on Saturday and want to see if they will budge.

About the men going in there thing, I actually went with my BM and her boyfriend, and he sat there and watched everything.....he even put on a tiara!!!!

Your boyfriend was allowed in...

My FH had to wait outside with my Goddaughter b/c they complained about them being in there.... My goddaughter is so calm... she was not running around or anything...

No... I didn't complain about the prices b/c everyone else was getting there alterations there... It was not my wedding and I didin't want to make any problems.

I am sure they hit you up at any bridal salon for alterations...

Good luck! I am sure you will be fine... The bride of the wedding that I was in LOVED LILLETTES!!!

I didn't get my dress there, but I tried on dresses there and the lady was sooo super nice. It's actually where I found my dress, but I ordered it from Burton's b/c it was $250 cheaper.

I am finished with Lillette's. They managed to screw up all but 1 BM's alterations! And the only one that was right got her dress altered somewhere else!

I ordered my dress there and had a great experience so far. I did have a bad experience with someone when I got measured but she was just pissed that she wasn't getting the commision from me. Thankfully Geri helped to turn my expererience around that night when she saw that I was upset!

Overall...they are great!

I went to Lillettes twice to try on dresses. When I called up they said they only take appts. Geri spent over 2 hours with me trying on dresses and she was great. I am a plus sized bride and they had a lot of samples that I could try on, which was great. I don't know anything about their service after buying a dress, but just to go in and try on, they were awesome.

I ordered my dress there two weeks ago. Gerri picked out the perfect dress for me. ( I had been looking for 2 months) It was about $400 cheaper there than all of the other bridal salons I went to. Make an appointment with Gerri, she is so nice and helpful.

I have heard mixed things about Lilletts. I have heard of people having wonderful experiences, but my sisters freind got her dress there and had such a difficult time with alterations and everything. I also remember when my sister went to look for her dress, they told her she looked amazing in dresses that were not particularly flattering. That was about 3 years ago now though. I personally have never had an experience with them. I guess it just depends on which sales person helps you.
