Lillette's Brides

How long were you told you had to wait for your dress to come in?

I ordered mine the last week of June and I can't remember when it's supposed to be in?

I ordered mine in July and I think they told me 6 months. I can't remember either!

I was told dresses arrive 6 weeks before the wedding...no matter when it is ordered. She said that sometimes some dresses/designers have them come in earlier but they tell brides 6 weeks prior to the wedding. Seemed odd but oh well i loved the dress and Gerri so ill took my chances

6 weeks before the wedding on all dresses.

Its better that way since you don't want to start fittings to far in advance.

Not to scare you but I was in a wedding the first weekend in June 2010. The BM's dresses didn't come in until 2 weeks (including the Memorial Day holiday) before the wedding and I think the bride's dress was only 3 weeks before. Everything was ordered on the same day in mid July 2009. Between ordering and alterations, they did change locations, maybe that had something to do with it.

I thoroughly enjoyed that they capped the BM alterations at $80!! Because there was a triple hem, that alone should have been $60.
