Limo HELP!!!!!!

Limo HELP!!!!!!

Hey Girls I need you help yet again.

I am having an issue with the prices of limo. My church is at 2 and my cocktail hour starts at 8 pm.

I can not believe that they only have 3 hour increments for limos for weddings but yet if you want to go with a bunch of people into the city and get wasted you have 7 hours available for a quarter of the price.

Sorry girls for venting but I need to know if anyone else is in this situation and what you are doing to solve it. Also I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for alternatives to limos.

Thank you for your advice in advance.

Stressed out Bride,

Melissa

How many different limo companies did you look at? Are they all like this?

Most of them are. if anyone knows of one that is not like that and is more flexible please let me know.

Limos aren't the only places that do that, unfortunately. People hear 'wedding' and mark up prices.

What about using one limo company for just the reception, and then hiring another company for just the ceremony? That way you use 1-2 hours for the ceremony, and then use 1 hour for the reception, and don't have to deal with overtime!

I too am having problems booking limos. I need one car for 2 hours and the other for 4. I noticed that limo places can't wait to add on the additional hour for one car, but won't give a discounted rate for the hour less I need for the other. So frustrating!

I would consult a limo company that does pick up / drop offs like M&V. That's probably the best route for you.

welcome to wedding prices!

it rediculous what they charge!

try Cruise Control. Out of all the quotes I got, they were the most reasonable, and they're registered with the BBB.

I'm using Ultimate Class and they were great to work with. They allowed me to pay for an extra hour. You may want to try calling them.

Call Rich at Sir Oliver Limos, I too have the same ceremony/reception times and he worked with me on it. I highly recommend them.
