***Limo Question***

I know what you all are going to say, however I am going to ask anyway....

I am looking into limos and I am just wondering if I should accomodate rides for the groomsmens' wives from the church to the hall. I know that there is taht time in between for pictures etc, however I'm not sure what to do.. FH is in a wedding next week that is providing a ride for me (I'm not in BP). eventhough I don't want to take the ride, I think I have t because reservations have already been made....

I'm confuzzed!!!

I've never known anyone to provide rides for the spouses/dates of those in the bridal party. I don't think it is something that you have to do.

It's not something you have to do of course; but you can look into seeing how it fits into your budget.

I've been to several weddings where my ex BF's were part of the BP and I wasn't and I drove myself.

I don't think many people expect it. My brother and SIL did it because they had the means to. I am having a BM's husband ride with us only because they are from out of state and don't want them to have to rent a car. So he will be with the BP.

Good luck!

Its definitely not expected for you to do so. Some of their wives/gf may also want a car with them to get around following the ceremony, and RH. If you want to, I am sure some would ride with you but like I said it isn't expected.

How would your GM, and BM's get home after the wedding if you provide them transportation. Usually the spouse/bf/gf drives to the RH so the other has a ride home

Pick up and drop off I have to look at the prices.

Re: ***Limo Question***

I dont have this issue for myself but FH is in a a wedding party this year (three weeks before our wedding) -- the bride and groom are renting a limo bus so that the significant others of those in the bridal party can hop in after the church ,,, the thought is very nice but as someone else mentioned however, although I appreciate the gesture, it doesnt work logistically bc i still need to get to the church by myself and then we both need to get home somehow after the RH.

Plus--- I am going to have to figure out what to do with myself during the inbetween time while they are taking pictures bc I dont want to be in the way. I may just skip the church and go straight to the RH, otherwise I will have to suck it up and drive myself around all day or car pool somehow with other girls who's FHs or husbands are in the wedding party and they are not.

At some point honestly you have to not kill yourself and just allow people to worry about themselves.. its your day and people should understand that you cant make everyone comfortable-- they should just be happy that you are happy-- and dont bankript yourself either trying to arrange transport for everybody! that is just my two cents =)

Good luck!

I wouldn't. I've been in BP's before and my date (FH) was not in BP, and therefore not in the limo. He was my ride home. It is kind of assumed that if the GM's date/spouse/significant other isn't in the BP, they don't go in the limo and they are supposed to be their ride home.

I think that if you book a limo for the BP's wives/husbands then you might be putting them in the same situation are in right now: not really wanting to take the ride, but not feeling right turning it down.
