Limo questions... for big bridal parties

What is everyone doing for the limos... I have 17 people in my bridal party. Should I get a 1 big limo and me and FH go with the bridal party in the limo? Should we get our own ( or one with our parents) ? Did you get a seperate limo for the parents or are they just driving themselves? I am totally confused with the whole limo thing!

Also can you suggest any good limo companies. I was given a price of 900 for 3 hours for a 22 passenger escalade (that includes gratuity) Is that a good price or should I keep looking?

I'm gonna FM you a better qoute for that season... but We have 15 people, plus FH, and myself. We are doing a 22 pass escalde for three hours and our parents r driving themselves. We have no money, if we did we would maybe get a towncar for each set of parents, but they know we can't afford it and each set perfers to have a car there in anyway.

I have 12 in my bridal party and FH and I plan to go in the limo with the BP.

We are getting a 30 passenger Limobus for the BP and FH and I. We also got a 14 passenger Navigator for my parents, their dates, and FIL's.

We're paying under $2K for these two cars for 3 hours, free pick up for FH and I from RH, aisle runner, and both cars stocked with champagne, soda, and water.

Give Joe at Camelot a call. He's got awesome prices!

Does that deal include tip? It sounds like a great deal regardless...

If I remember correctly (I'd have to double check my contract), yes it does. I believe Joe told us that we don't have to tip anything because it's part of the package.

IMO -- 17 people will not be comfortable in a 22 person Escalde.

We had a large BP -- 25 people.

The girls were picked up in an Yukon Limo and taken to the church. I rode to church with my parents in regular limo.

Then we had a Limo Bus pick up the guys and DH's parents.

After the ceremony everyone except my parents went into the Limo Bus. My parents had the limo for the day but that was for another reason.

We had 25 person bridal party so we rented 1 limobus for the bridal party and us. DH and I were both getting ready within 3 mins of each other and the church so we had the bus go to his place first to get him, his parents and the groomsmen and drop them off at the church. then it came and got us.

after the ceremony we have a regular limo come to get our parents and bring them to the reception, while the bridal party, DH and I all went on the bus.

it worked out great b/c we got to spend time with our bridal party alone.

We have 14 in our party, we were going to do the same thing and get a truck limo but after going and sitting in it we decided on going with 2 stretch limos (10-12 person), it will be more comfortable and actually less expensive.
We went with Royalty, they are being very competitive now.

We have 14 people in our BP ........ we are getting (2) 22 passenger cadillac trucks

1- for the groomsmen and FH to get to the church
1- for the Bridesmaids

also 1 rolls royce for my father and me

then after the church the whole BP will jump in one limo and our parents and grandparents will jump in the other.

not sure who we are using yet tho

Re: Limo questions... for big bridal parties

IMHO, personally I don't like to get into limos when I'm all dressed up. I don't know why but I'm just not a huge fan of limos. I prefer a party bus or a trolley.

We booked a trolley for our wedding party. It holds 27 and this way a couple extra people that might be in need of a ride can also hop on. I'm thinking about some of the BP dates. I need people to leave their cars by the hotel so if a BM bf leaves his car by the hotel then he is stranded and needs a ride, for example.

Have you looked into a trolley? it is so adorable, I am obsessed! I wish I had a bigger BP.
