Hey ladies.. I got a quote from a very popular limo company that alot of girls are using and I want to know if this is a fair quote:
Chrysler 300 limo for 2 hours (3:30-5:30) and a lincoln navigator for 2 hours at the end of the reception to take the guests to the hotel/after party.. the hotel is right across the street (5 mins away) so I dont think we will the whole 2hours... more like 45 mins, if that.
the quote for this was 900 .. is that good?
TIA!

Call around and ask for quotes over the phone. I needed something similar and I thought $900 was high (I got the same quote), I found many that were willing to go lower!

Hmmm... At first glance it seems a bit off, but not by much. For 4 hours - i am paying about $1,300. And I am stopping in between.
And usually the limo services don't charge you for the pickup at the end of the night. Maybe if you don't need the full 2 hours at the end - you can count that down to 1 hour.
I would go get a qoute from a second limo company just to compare.

Really??? That's so strange! I spoke with Elegance & All Star yesterday and both gave me quotes over the phone. As did Camelot, which was the company that I thought high-balled me. All Star gave me the lowest quote.

Did you try Sir Oliver? I don't know where your reception is, but there pick up/drop off may be around $250.

All Stars quote was definitely a lot lower...I think $750. Elegance was lower, but they didn't include gratuity in their price. I am also going to call Serenity and Royalty today because I got recommendations from them. I also hear good things about Sir Oliver. Don't think you have to go with Camelot just because so many girls on here love them. They are VERY nice, but their prices are not the lowest (as far as I have found...)

Re: Limo quote.. what do you think?
we're getting about the same thing and we're using Camelot. Being that the time of year we're getting married is prom season they quoted us at 1200. I have experience with them before for other weddings and bachelorettes and they are definitely reliable and very professional so I was willing to pay the price.

Re: Limo quote.. what do you think?
it also depends on where you are in comparison to the limo company. i booked someone in patchogue and they had to charge me a certain amount for a pick up and drop off b/c of the distance from the place. my PU & DO is in melville.

Re: Limo quote.. what do you think?
Thanks for the All Star Limo recommendation! I just got a quote over the phone- $200 less than camelot. I am checking out both and Royalty tomorrow.
20 passenger Yukon, 14 passenger stretch and a Rolls for 5 hours for $2400. Does that smell right?

We used All Star they were fabulous our drivers were great, they were early for pickups, helped with all of our bags. We even used them for a transport to the airport the following day for our HM. I highly recommend them.

No problem. So far their prices are the lowest I have gotten. The woman on the phone was very sweet. Let me know how it goes. They are the recommended vendor at CLM, so I will probably go with them.

Thanks so much! I always hear Camelot, Camelot, Camelot that I was starting to think I had to suck it up and pay the price. I will report back with what I book! I'm feeling good about All Star but am curious as whether Royalty can come lower...they claim 'fox hollow' discount. We'll see.

I went with Camelot although i realized they werent the very lowest price for p/u d/o for rolls royce but I didnt really care because all in all remember sometimes you get what you pay for and reputation and reliability is everything. Make sure the limo company your going for is reliable.

Are you serious??? All star quoted me at $400 higher than Camelot, no lie! I am starting to think limo companies pick random prices out their booties depending on their mood!

Re: Limo quote.. what do you think?
Limo shopping was definitely my least favorite thing...what's up with the offices being so crusty? ick.
Anyway, just wanted to report to everyone that I booked with....drumroll.... Royalty!
I ended up with a 22 pass. Escalade, 14 pass. stretch and the Rolls for 5 hours- $2250 (tax and grat included). Beautiful, immaculate cars. So glad this is done! I almost walked out a few times, had it not been for my MOH. She kept reminding me that the walls were filled with Thank You cards. I just wasn't getting the level of attention or warmth I've gotten with all other vendors in this process. Glad I stuck it out to hear the price!
