Limos

Should I be looking into booking limos now or is it too soon? The reason I ask is because if I do it now can I get 2006 prices or is it not that big of a deal. The wedding isn't until Oct 2007.

I'm not sure how much the prices go up year to year so its hard to say--- but the urgency depends on what kind of limos you are looking for.... If you want a specialty limo (like a specific type of rolls) then I would book earlier rather than later- b/c it could be taken for your date if you wait. If you are looking for regular stretch limos there probably isn't much urgency.

We booked our limos because the company told us that they would be increasing their prices for 07.

We booked our months ago to guarantee we get want we want car wise and price wise.

If you really want to...DO IT!! I got engaged in 2005. I booked everything in that year!! Some vendors told me that the prices inflate a lot every year. So we decided to book immediately!!!!

Ok it sounds like it might be worth it to look into it now just so I can keep the 2006 prices. So which companies are you all using? I'm not sure where to start.

Royalty limos... I know 2 people who used them and loved them... they also have a bunch of specialty limos. I feel like I got a good price with them.

Which ever company you end up with---- make sure you haggle!!!

Honestly, I booked most of my vendors by a year and 4 months before my wedding.
In my opinion, it is never too early to book....especially on LI!

We booked with Legend Limos. Bobby is young but great! We are getting a 2007 Escalade and another Cadalliac DTS for our parents, grandparents and my BILs.

our wedding is in October 2007 as well, and we booked our Limo about 4 months ago. I say you should book now.

We booked our limos over the summer and my wedding is October 07 also. I looked and booked with my cousin who's wedding is in April, which was actually the reason we started looking so early - thought maybe we could get a better deal booking two weddings . We knew we wanted a certain specialty car from a certain company (Camelot - who I highly recommend!!) so we booked then to make sure we got what we wanted.

I second Mrs. CM's suggestion --- book early especially if you want a specialty car !

And I also agree -- Camelot gave me a very good quote and a top notch customer service. It may only be a ride, but I would like to be treated well
