Limos: Are you using?

Not sure yet if we will use limos or not. Our ceremony is at our hall. Very small bridal party (2 people)..what are you guys doing? if you're not booking limos, what is everyone doing for transportation?

Certain limo companies offer smaller limos. I know All Star has a 6 passenger limo...

Sir Oliver also has 6 passenger limos, if you decide to go that route.

i wasn't sure myself to use or not to use bc we are geting married at the hall. i will be calling royalty and sir oliver soon for quotes on a 10 passenger for pick-up/drop-off to hall. i think we will have one limo for the girls and the boys can get themselves there (this way the girls and boys will have a way to get home). i think we are staying at a hotel less than 2 miles away from atlantis, so i think i will stuff me in my dress into my fi's tiny car for the short ride there, unless te limo place throws that in, which i doubt. ~Lacey

Re: Limos: Are you using?

One of my BM got married at her reception location and brought everyone's outfits to the place. They all got dressed in the bridal suite. I think she drove her mom, MOH and BM/sister and Jr BM/little sis there b/c she'd be too nervous being a passenger. I don't remember how they left the hall b/c I was trashed!! I think they drove themselves b/c they changed, went home and then surprised us by joining the after party. It was a lot of fun.

If FH and I were getting married at the hall I'd do the same thing. Maybe just arrange for 14 bas vans to take people back to the hotel for the after party- which is what were doing anyway. If you can save the money, do it!! I personally wouldn't want to drive myself home after my wedding like m BM did tho!

Re: Limos: Are you using?

One thing to consider is where you are getting dressed. If it is at the hall, then IMHO limos would be totally unnecessary. However, if you are getting dressed at home, or in a hotel, how big is your dress? Will it fit (with you in it) into a regular car without getting totally wrinkled?? The nice thing about a limo is the dress can be spread out to minimize wrinkles, so your walk down the aisle will be picture perfect and practically wrinkle free.
