Limo's / Car Seats & Kids

Just a heads up to those who maybe have not come to cross this issue yet ...

I have 1 RB & 2 FG's who will both be under 5 by the time the wedding comes along.. Just keep in mind when the day comes that most parents are going to ask that a car seat be in the limo , should the kids be riding in it.. Especially now with the huge accident all over the papers with the little girl that was killed in the limo accident..

Most limos do not have seat belt's allready in the limos, except for the front where the driver sits...

MY RB parents wanted to make sure that there was seat belts in the limo , some limos do not have them therefore a car seat cant be placed int the limo ..

Just a heads up , I called my company (royality) & they said u have to bring the car seat to them the day before & they will make sure its attached in the limo ..

I had a huge issue about this being the RB parents are both in my wedding party & they were not going to allow him without it & almost were not gonna ride in the limo as well if one was not provided..

Sorry so long , just wanted to plant the seed for those that havent thought of it yet , lord knows I didnt ,,

OMG Chrissy , we had a huge family issue over this one ,, Who would have thought ,, !!!

My FG's mom isnt as concerned as the RB parents ( my brother & sil) & he was like if there is no seat belt for the car seat , well we will just take our own car to the church & such . I was like

cuz i didnt want them to drive their own car , so just double check ,, ,, Especially if the parents are overly cautious as they are ,,

Just to let you know, I believe if you have AAA membership you can rent car seats from them. They have location in Garden City. It might be a possibility.

I would have never thought of that! I still have to talk to my cousin about the whole thing with the FGs in the limo- I may ask if she would prefer to follow us with the girls when we take pictures, only because I'm afraid of the GMs and the drinking, etc.

I was so worried about this myself. When I wet to Roayalty I checked and the limo I went with have seatbelts on everyseat. My FG's are in booster seats so they told me I can just put it in the car the morning of.

my flower girl, who is 6, when I was talking to her and my 3 year old flower girl...the 6 year old goes, we need a car seat for Natalie (3) and Natalie looks up from her coloring book and goes, yeah, I need a carseat...so cute

Actually, when I went to go to the limo place, I mentioned how old she was, and he made sure that we would have a car seat for that child. I said, yep, I was planning on it already.

Another warning with that... call to confirm you need it during the week and even the day before. My FSIL had problems with her limo company the day of b/c they forgot the car seat.

this was a concern of mine as well b/c have 4 little ones under 4, so when i was looking at limo companies that was one of the questions i asked.

Right, !!! I mean , the parents can supply the car seat' s but its just confirming that the particular limo your in DOES have seatbelts, alot of them dont ,,

My son will definately be in his booster seat. As far as the RB & FG, they just may ride with there father,being that his wife is in my BP. You just can't ever be too careful these days.

Yea see thats not the issue,, You gotta make sure that the limo company will provide the seatbelts in the back, if thats where u are puittin the kids,, Normally there are no seatbelts ib the back,, !!! ,

well I do know that I got a good rate being im a SC bride,, They gave me 15% off just for that
