Lindenhurst

How is the area of Lindenhurst, N. Lindenhurst? There are a couple of houses in the area we are considering.

Are there any sections we should stay away from? How's N. Lindenhurst. The wellwood (north of it), straightpath (south), 109 (south of it) area (Kellum St. School area). If you think this section is bad why? Is it crime, condition of the houses, people that live in the area? Any information would be helpful.

Please be honest, I will not take offense!

My friend who lives in Lindenhurst said the numbered streets are the nicest b/c they are close to the water.

What would you pay for a cape south of sunrise? What's the average they go for?

I grew up in a cape just north of Montauk Hwy. I am not sure what the going rate is for the area as a whole but in my area they are going for about $320K+. There are some fixer uppers that go for less. My parents area IMO is prime because its within walking distance of the train station, the village, the elementary school and the JHS.

What size property for 320K?
