That is the pefect thread. I don't know how many times I have mention to someone that this site is very helpful, but I truly believe that some of these brides, and brides to be loose site of the 'wedding' in general. Some things are not that serious. In know way would I be spending 60k or more on a wedding. Heck I think past 25k is too much, and I have it to spend. It's just crazy!

Whenever I get crazy over things I want, I think to my self, reguardless of who or whats there(at the wedding) I will be marrying a man that I have loved for a long time, and someone who has loved me back as well, and thats all that matters

So funny how I think most of us will still splurge on these things even though they said it's not worth it!

I think we all want to experience alot....

Ha, definitely, I have to agree with you on that one.

And honestly, even though I don't have their 'experience' I feel like some of the advice people are giving is ridiculous, and it's clear from some of the responses on there that everybody has their own opinion of what's worthwhile... like I would never even consider forcing my bridesmaids to shell out for matchy-matchy dyed shoes they'll never wear again, and a lot of people are saying that, but some people were insisting that the shoes can make or break the outfit! I think that's getting maybe a little carried away...
And with invitations... some people said to splurge on them, some say it's a waste. Some say not to worry about the photographer, but I think that's one of the most important things... after all, that's all you have left of the party in the end!

So, yeah... I'm definitely enjoying reading that post, but more as just things to think about than any definite advice on what I should and shouldn't do. When it comes down to it, it's all just a matter of what's important to you, and what your own opinions are.
