The LIRR is operating on a regular weekday schedule.
We are currently experiencing scattered 10 minute delays systemwide.
We anticipate 10-to-15 minute scattered weather-related delays systemwide during this evening's rush hour. Some trains will operate with less than the regular number of cars.
The following evening rush hour trains are expected to be canceled/combined this evening:
The 4:12 PM train from Penn Station to Massapequa Park (5:05 PM) will be combined with the 4:21 PM train from Penn Station to Freeport (5:03 PM) and make Jamaica, Rockville Centre then all stops to Massapequa Park.
The 4:43 PM train from Penn Station to Port Washington (5:21 PM) will be combined with the 4:46 PM train from Penn Station to Great Neck (5:23 PM) and make all stops to Port Washington.
The 4:49 PM train from Penn Station to Port Jefferson (6:36 PM) will be combined with the 5:06 PM train from Penn Station to Huntington (6:07 PM) and make Jamaica, Syosset then all stops to Port Jefferson.
The 4:57 PM train from Penn Station to Wantagh (5:42 PM) will be combined with the 5:01 PM train from Penn Station to Freeport (5:46 PM) and make Jamaica, Rockville Centre then all stops to Wantagh.
The 5:50 PM train from Penn Station to Great Neck (6:19 PM) will be combined with the 5:56 PM train from Penn Station to Great Neck (6:31 PM).
The 6:33 PM train from Penn Station to Babylon (7:35 PM) will be combined with the 6:36 PM train from Penn Station to Wantagh (7:28 PM) and make Jamaica, Rockville Centre then all stops to Babylon.
East of Ronkonkoma Customers: Bus service will be provided in place of train service between Greenport and Ronkonkoma.
The 2:51 PM westbound train from Montauk to Jamaica is operating 60 minutes late.
Customers are also advised to exercise caution when navigating stairs and platforms and boarding trains.
We advise our customers to check this website and monitor media reports for service advisories related to the storm.
