LIRR? Leave now or wait?

So, apparently, Penn Station is a mob scene right now..do I leave work now and risk the mobs and stand around for an hour....or chill here at work and wait for it to calm down?

I don't get out of work until 7, so I was at Penn by 7:15 and caught my 7:27. I really lucked out as I heard it was a madhouse until 7. If you can wait tonight until after 7 I say that is your best shot!
