Wow! That's really nice. I don't think I could ever do something like that.

we have tons of stuff!!!!!

We are doing our vintage photo area with vintage props. we have parasols, fans, hair feather, monocles, sherlock holmes pipes, top hats and mustaches on a stick!!!!!!!!

Since one of our rooms is a library we will be using books as the table center pieces in there, to make it more personal we are covering and titling the books after guests at the wedding

To cut costs, instead of the video montage the dj does, we are doing digital picture frames in the library as well.

We will also be doing DIY invites and programs with our famed peacock on them.

We will be doing signature drinks in pink and rimming them with gold glitter sugar to match our colors.

instead of the traditional bubbles and flower pedals we will be using party horns

Our ceremony will also be very unique to us as reverend deb will be incorporating the hindu religion as well as italian traditions into the ceremony

For my bms I actually purchased intial pins for them to put on their bouquet handles

There are other things that are skipping my mind right now, but we have added a lot of special touches to make the wedding our own.

I'm with you girls on this one!! I am already spending enough money on the big stuff, I cant afford the little touches!


ETA: We do have our Channa plaque which we are going to put on our sweetheart table, as well as other personal items for our table and cake table. Also doing something in memory of close family members that have passed away. So I guess I am doing some personal touches

OMG Ash... you should SEE the list of extras I have. Things that come to mind are personalized M&Ms for VH, napkins... i'll send you my list

I love the cigar bar...my dad is a cigar lover so we may do something like that. Our temple also has a really nice terrace so it would be a nice get- away for the guys...My dad first mentioned it to me when we first got engaged if we could do that LOL...I may surprise him, we shall see. I still have a lot of time. If you're going to go for the cigar bar, maybe have personalized matches and cigar covers...

Napkins are a nice touch but to be honest, we had them at our e-party and I still have most of them. Sometimes the bartenders forget to give them out and just use the plain ones.

Slipper baskets are a cute idea too. There are some nice ones on etsy.com.

Just dont drive yourself crazy with the minor little details but to rather enjoy the process :)

personalized matches if we get the cigar roller.
single roses at every other place setting
picture frames throughout cocktail hour on mantles
seating chart frames instead of escort cards
Signature Drinks
linens
