So I have been talking to friends who've gotten married recently and they keep saying it's all the little extra things they did that made the wedding so memorable. Is anyone doing anything extra for their wedding??

Re: Little Extras....
I thought people wouldn't notice the little touches but we ended up getting a lot of compliments on the little touches we did:
-Table numbers were different sports stadium -Slipper Baskets (we bought 88 and only had 5 left) -wedding pictures of our parents and grandparents -cake topper of us in my dress and his tux pants with me in a Mets jersey and him in a Yankees jersey -Some Jewish traditions and Italian traditions mixed in -Personalized menus -Wine bottles as escort cards
ETA: FYI, Jericho Terrace provides the bathroom baskets. AND, if you are doing the slipper/flip flop baskets you might want to ask if you share your bathroom with anyone. We shared with the room next to us so we kept the slippers by the DJ off the dance floor. This way people didn't leave the room and we knew OUR GUESTS were getting them.

We are going to put a bunch of pictures in frames all over the place (on top of piano, bar, escort card table, etc) of family and friends who will be there. I think it will be cute for guests to see throwback pics of themselves, and hopefully it will let everone know they are there b/c they are, were, and will always be part of our life together.
I wanna do this but in a collage form, my family had a big party for new years 2000 and we did this, to this day everyone still talks about it.

Good idea! I have a big family too so that sounds like a really nice and personal touch
