I went to my 1st band showcase last night at the Watermill and saw this band named Infinity. Gosh were they awesome! Has anyone ever used them before? The agency they are represented by (Franklin Wayne Music) has other bands as well but I just started looking. What are the going rates for live bands and how do you know if the agency is reputable? I think I'm going to go see the band Vision tomorrow at a showcase.
we didn't see infinity but we're booked with a Franklin wayne band - heart and soul. i heard their other bands and they were great as well. my sister's friend used heart and soul a year ago so i know they're reputable!!
Look into East Coast Band!! They are so good and you can see them outside of the showcases. They also perform at restaurants and bars on LI and the City.
We are booked with Franklin Wayne's band Vision - they are AMAZING! FW is very reputable, and they are really great with communication and delivering a great experience for the bride/groom and guests. A lot of our friends have used their bands and I have never heard one negative thing about them!
someone once told me that the cost of a band is about $1,000 for every member. there is definitely a range, though, that's for sure.
