I am starting to freak out about where we are going to live when we come back from our honeymoon. Wae dont live together now but want to buy a house in the near future. I am stressing about all these payments for the wedding coming up and then having to take out a mortgage.
Anyone else having these problems ?

Re: living arrangements
We currently live with my parents... we're going to look for a condo and move out either right before or right after the wedding.
I CANNOT wait.

Ughhh...I know exactly how you feel. FH lives with his parents now and I'm pretty much there all the time, but after we're married, I want us to have our own place. We're looking at houses right now and just got pre-approved for a mortgage so we'll see I guess.

You are not alone. We have seperate apts and he wants me to move into his apt but FMIL lives in the same building...Im just not ok with that. I told him once were married we should find a place together thats OURS (most importantly away from his mother). I dont want to be cruel but its just uncomfortable knowing shes so close and he wouldnt want to live that close to my MOM
...sorry ladies had to vent

It's all good. My mom lives in PA near Pittsburgh and we're far away from her-not that we have any problems with her, but I don't think I would want her right next door.
We live with his mom and dad now and they're really great, but I keep trying to tell him, like, when we're married we don't need to be next door or within 10 minutes or 15...like we can be a little further, lol. I feel you.

Re: living arrangements
We have the opposite.....we just bought a house and we have no idea how we are going to be able to afford our wedding.....We are supposed to be moving in around August 1st or so, so we figure we'll move in and get settled and then really begin our wedding planning....otherwise we are going to be stressed out. For those of you guys who don't think it's possible to buy a house, my suggestion is to talk to a real estate agent and they will tell you if you can afford a house and what you can afford. We honestly didn't think we could afford a house and we ended up purchasing a really nice house in Lindenhurst It's possible, just talk to someone and see what you can do All and all, I feel your stress though, because we got it coming from the opposite end....though it will all work out in the end
