I don't think they ever 'go away' but you just learn to grin and bear it.

Honestly even if you are with someone for 10 years, there will be adjustments when u live together. For instance, the bills, who pays what. What account its drawn from. If you want to pay ur bills online and ur FH wants to mail a check. Money is a major issues in all marriages. Deciding how much goes into a savings account.
Who goes to the food store, who cooks dinner, who cleans the place, who does laundry?,
These are all things that will be figured out and are not earth shattering things.

true..those things i expected but i meant as far as adjusting to his ways i know what to expect....i dont think ill ever get over his not closing draws, closests, anything that can open...why cant u close it?? ive been trying to train him for liek 4 yrs on that now

FH & I lived together for 4yrs (I moved out briefly due to home safty concerns, after robbery) and our families were supportive when we moved in together I was 21 & her was 22, when he proposed last year it was kind of annoying that some people were like finally you won;t be living in sin anymore WHat the f? I was so hurt but some traditionalist believe what they believe... * But my 22 yr old brother is talking s w/ his GF and some other family members suggedted they live together before he gives her a It's all a matter of prefrence ...

What would work best for you? I really admire your dedication to being a positive role model...

What if you& FH live at home then next year 2007/2008n you get your place, that way you can start making your home & spedn your last few months as an engaged couple living together

OOOH, i see what your saying, Well i do not close drawers, or cabinet doors. I leave clothes everywhere, and all over the floor too. I am not your typical girl.

Like he eats full meals in bed, like chicken parm etc, and i will do the same. We leave drinking glasses all over the house, I am just not a neat freak, i never have been.

So funny, FH has been trying to train me, to be a neat freak,like him

We have hired help for cleaning
He drops & picks up the laundry, I put it away...
Finances were worked ou before we moved in back in 2002......

Our issue is me leaving my bad where ever I leave it, glasses everywhere, snacks etc...

You have hired help!!! Wow. My mother raised 4 kids with a full time job and didn't have any hired help. I wonder how our house stayed so spotless?

We have cleaning people come in to clean our house too. I just hate cleaning, always have.
The people we have that come in our highly reccomended and would never even steal change.

When they come to clean, i always stay in the house, cause i keep my dog out of their way.

Nicole!! You keep your dog out of their way!!! That's so funny!!! My aunt did that too! She had a cleaning lady come while she was home too!!! You don't feel awkward?

This was actually our biggest blow out fight Yes, the woman that has cleaned FHs home since he was a boy works for Fils clens our apt once a week, nothing crazy. we don;t have a live-in, we live in a one bedroom apt.

I'd feel guilty. Like I'd want to help them out....

Me too Bonnie... I am the help/the maid/the nanny (Cooper's nannie that is). I really don't mind it. The whole unemployment thing is really helping me find my domestic side.
