I cant believe so many of you have bumped into each other,,,,I'm still shy too! I feel weird going to GTG's and I have over 3000 posts so everyone knows me and vice versa better then some of my BM's!

I just want to let everyone know this is a total fabrication...
dm24qangel did not stop talking the entire GTG!!!!!!
And i am SOOOO thankful that she didn't!

NOT TRUE! I am a Talker but I knew someone there ( lisa) for over 22 years so I felt comfortable...I could NOT go alone, not then, not now

OK here is more of an embarrassin LIW moment:

I was meeting a bunch of girls here for a GTG at cheesecake factory..I came by myself and had only a vague knowledge of what people looked like..
Well i went up to the hostess and said i am here with a party of 8 (i think) and she pointed to where it was. I walked up to them and said..HI..everyone!
They all gave me this strange look...i said LIW? And they said 'oh no sorry sweetie'

I almost died

My confession is so dumb but who cares?
OK! I talk about all of you to my family, co-workers, friends, and my fiance and I always say 'My friend booked with so and so...' or 'my friend is wearing that dress for her wedding'
YOU ARE ALL MY FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!

The people I tell are always like 'Wow, you have a whole bunch of friends getting married.' I am always like 'Tell me about it'
If they only knew!

I do that too

I HAVE to refer to you as my 'friends' or people look at me funny. Even my friends who are getting married laugh at me for coming on here!

Whenever I was at the bridal store, or any other vendor, I would always stare at the girls who came in to see if anyone looked familiar! I was even tempted to ask people if they were on LIW - but never did. THese girls prob thought I was a stalker!

Me, too! Except, everyone who knows me, knows that I don't have (currently) 196 friends who are getting married, so they think I'm nuts.

ditto --- i Fm a bride some time back if i could use an idea for table names

OK fashionhag - I have a real confession. A few days ago my FH couldn't get in touch with me, but he knows I'm on this website all the time, so he set up a screen name and tried to FH me. Then he got to thinking, what would happen if he tried to post something clean.... but weird. He went back today to see if someone had responded. And he tells me 'that has got to be the most supportive group of people I've ever not actually met... They even posted pictures to help me!' When I told him I would 'out' him so that he doesn't post anything that would embarrass me he goes 'NO NO NO - I don't want the brides to think I'm a bad FH' (he actually uses the term 'FH' in conversations now)

that's my confession for my FH.... I think that's the weirdest one on here

i confess that i talk about you guys all the time, and pretend like i know all of you in reality. i always talk about your weddings, and your wedding plans, no matter if i've ever met you or not.
and every night at dinner, i update my husband on what went down during the day on LIW.....he thinks I'm insane!
although, if he had never been banned from LIW - he would probably have more posts than I do!!!

OOOH, I'm going to catch heck for this...but here it comes...

I know WITHOUT A DOUBT that one of my vendors used to post on here as a bride and recommend (him/her) self to other brides...

And, I will NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS tell you who it was. And, you won't be able to guess because the vendor isn't listed in my bio....

I talk about things I read on LIW all the time- people must think I'm crazy. Obsessed??Maybe. Crazy?? Sometimes.....

I've really picked up (hmm hmm stolen) some great ideas from here!

I speak to my FH all the time about LIW BTB and the vendors and the quotes. At first, he looked at me like I was an insane person(and only believed me when I got a package from
wc0143 and he asked me who Wendy was. 'I never met any of your friends that are named Wendy and they are so nice and supportive')and then I always talk about every weekend now about who's getting married and I take special notice of the weather. He then gives me another insane look. And ofcourse, my computer at work and at home are full of pictures of all the things that I'd liked and all of those ideas...so keep them coming Ladies and Gentlemen....
