I would KJ if I didn't live on Long Island.

The company I worked for is in CT, where I lived until about a year ago. I tried having a gig for awhile, but it didn't go well because the bar wouldn't promote me and none of the people who swore up and down that they'd go went. So the gig died after I'd say about a month and a half. I have never been good about getting myself business, so without the company finding me gigs, I haven't been working. It's a huge bummer.

But, had I never moved to Long Island, I would have a weekly gig (or two) with the occasional private party.

Alright, I'm making this my mission to get this going...

Anyone have a basement they want to donate up? Again, I have a big backyard but the weather isn't that great yet. Maybe in May?

If you are really interested in doing this we could rent out the bar in the bottom of the Comfort Inn at exit 64. If we have enough people they will throw in a DJ. I don't know about the Karaoke you would have to ask

May sounds pretty good to me. But if I'm gonna KJ it (which I'm willing to), it may be tough to schedule. The FIRST weekend or the weekend of the 15th are still good for me (the other three weekends are my Mom's b-day, Mother's day, and Memorial Day).

Of course, don't schedule it around me solely, but that's my availability.

I am not sure if they still have it (I live upstate so someone there will have to check) but Viva Juan's in Coram/Selden on Saturday night has Karoke you can make in Dinner, Drinks and Singing!!
