liweddings - how can we be private?

I don't know if this is possible...can there be a special board on here where we can talk 'freely' about certain issues, knowing that vendors cannot read? I know it would be almost impossible, being that they can log on as brides - but maybe something you can only get on if you are 'I'm Addicted' or 'Board Fanatic'?

Since I am so close to my date, it really doesn't affect me too much - but for the future brides - . As you get closer and start to meet with all your vendors, there are certain doubts that come up. You know you are being over-paranoid, but you need somebody to express your concerns to. I find myself not wanting to 'say anything' because I know that the vendors check in and I don't want to offend anybody before my day. I met with every vendor last week, and though I feel sure about everything....well you know what I mean...I feel like saying 'hey , has anybody felt this way about so and so?'

Just a request. Don't know how do-able it is. But we are all pretty patient with the fact that they are able to gather info from us on our expectations and opinions, thus furthering their success....kind of at the expense of our comfort sometimes. Thanks for hearing me out.

I think it is a good idea also, it is not fair that they can log on to our side and then see what we are thinking and maybe track us down. How sleazy is that? I say great dea!

Jenny...I think everyone feels that way. In the final weeks, I doubted every one of my vendors in one way or the other (even if unjustified!). Its only natural to be worried about something so important to us.

I love this idea!~ I feel bad making coments knowing they can read it, like for instance when I met with a DJ company and didnt like them i wanted to share with the other girls why.

I think that if you have to be a certain 'level' than that will leave out a lot of the newer brides. But I do like the idea. Maybe your identity needs to be verified somehow.
But don't worry. We ALL get nervous, doubt our decisions, worry that things will go wrong.

Great idea hopefully they can think of something.Im starting to feel some of the posts from brides if they are brides who bad mouth vendors are the ones who are the vendors themselves,working for the same industry.Why would you bad mouth someone with your first post Hmmmm.I try to stay neutral on bad mouthing vendors hey maybe they were not right for me but they might be right for someone else.Unless it is very evident to everyone.

my idea was that you could only log onto it if you had been posting for a while, lots of posts, etc. Like I'm Addicted or Board Fanatic. I know it leaves people out that just started, but it may be the only way to weed out the vendors - as best we can anyway. I think it should be a board ONLY for concerns about vendors - maybe called like 'venting on vendors' or something. Not to bash - just to ask questions freely. This way it doesn't take away from the work on this board that involves all the brides.
