the open toe shoe pledge needs to be repeated! That is the one thing no self respecting woman should forget!

Re: LIW's most repeated POSTS !!!

I think a lot of Theresa's post about What do you think about (insert title here) are repetitive.

What about, what is your favorite (insert title here)

I think Suzanne's post about TV, especially when she gets excited about Must see TV

The Bucket threads are repetitive

Novemberbride has a lot of post about celebrities or something.

Chippa is infamous for giving us the daily play by play or sharing with us the long winded stories about someone she knows that it happened to

Then we have Anna and Bearsbabe that go on and on and all you usually ask them is a simple question like, what time is it ....LOL

*quickly leaves room as she is stones with tomatoes* LOL

You know what tho' as much as they are repetitive or we might not like a lot of these post, they are what makes the board move or we would not have anything to read.

Shamma LMAO !!

Did you ask what time it was ?
Oh, I bought this new MOVADO watch to go with my Fendi Bag, and my Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabana outfit. But it must match my Armani sunglasses, and my Laura Biagiotti perfume fits the mood...

what flowers are (specific color)? (search yahoo!)

whats a good bridal store?

Post a pic of (whatever) (even though i love seeing pics!!)

yes those 'you have FM' ones are annoying!

Those saying hi to one particular person or having private convos... thats what fm's are for

Re: LIW's most repeated POSTS !!!

When should I send my invitations?
What should the RSVP date be?
What do you think about Friday night/holiday weekend weddings?

For the most part I dont mind the repetivie nature of the posts. With so many people planning it's bound to happen.

The only one that really bothers me are the FM ones. To me its like whipering.

Re: LIW's most repeated POSTS !!!

shamma AND becky...lmao!!!

but Shamma...don't you DARE stop posting those coupons!!!!

the one that bothers me the most is how many guests...and what was the attrition rate...

I think a lot of the repeated posts are b/c of the format of this site (no offense LIW)...it needs some upgrading...including being able to see if you posted in a thread already...AND more boards...I have been waiting...hopefully something will come out soon!!

Re: LIW's most repeated POSTS !!!

Christine - I agree about the FM ones - although I am guilty of posting them occasionally. Sometimes it makes me feel bad (but I'm a sensitive person anyway)...

Re: LIW's most repeated POSTS !!!

I always wanted LIW to make some sort of link to see posts that YOU have started (like theknot has) I lose track and ever forget some of my own posts sometimes!

ChristineC68 Posted:

Re: LIW's most repeated POSTS !!!

Marnles - I am guilty of it too but really try not to do it.

I wish LIW had a better tracking method too. With so many threads I forget which ones I responded too and spends lots of time re-reading threads.

Re: LIW's most repeated POSTS !!!

I know Im going to get stoned for this but my least favorite threads are:

a) I love x vendor so much for no reason. I dont know why girls do this but if you are going to give your vendors some free advertising, at least have a reason. To me saying 'i love my photographer b/c i love my photos and here...' is great b/c it helps the brides here while entertaining everyone with the photos. But Ive seen posts like 'I love my photographer so much b/c she is nice to me'...um, she is supposed to be nice to you! You are paying her to be nice, she is not great for doing her basic job.

b) My wedding was perfect. Sorry, no wedding is perfect. Maybe the poster wasnt that observant or didnt care about the problems but to say that every vendor gets A++++++++++++++++++ drives the crap out of me b/c it makes the whole thing sound like a lie to me. Some vendors do a great job and some do an adequate job. I honestly think there are people on this board who feel like they have personally failed if their vendors arent perfect...weird, i know but thats the only theory I could think of.

c) Any post where the bride is upset that the world hasnt stopped turning in her honor. Luckily, there are very few brides like this on the site...but Ive seen a few posts that make me cringe.

Ok, off the soapbox. (ducking from tomatos)
