I know with most BCP's it is a 28 day cycle but since loestrin 24 has you take active pills for 24 days instead of 21 does that change how many days are in the cycle?
Trying to determine if I have to start a new pack early or not based on my wedding date.

nope....
i take a tri-phasal as well 21 real pills 2 sugar 5 low dose real pills
period is still the same (actually it is shorter which is awesome!)

yes, it's a 28 day cycle (you get your period every 4th week, to the day)
it is supposed to shorten the length of tiem you're on your period which is great (mine is about 4-5 days instead of 7 so i'm happy)

Awesome thanks! Yes, I have been on it a while I just wanted to make sure I was calculating it correctly. No need to skip YAY!!!! Oh and mine lasts about 2 days I love it!

When I went on Loestrin 24 it changed WHEN, not the length, but I definitely got it later than I used to... (by about 2 days...)
Hope that doesn't mess you up. I don't know how long you've been on Loestrin 24 and wht you were on before....
