LOL figured out the secret to getting along with MIL!
LOL marry a guy whos mom hasn't worked in 26 years, and still can't keep her life together DHs mom hasn't worked since he was born, and so now that i work AND manage to keep things together around the house, shes like sooo amazed and is always giving me compliments and saying things like ' how do you find time to bake? you're so busy!' or ' don't worry about it, i'll watch the dog- you have enough to worry about!' LOL so nice to be appreiciated

lol that's great for you!! congrats... unfortunately my FMIL hasn't worked a day in her life and (even in the beginning of their marriage when most people suffer financial hardships the most--there she was driving around in a mercedes!!) Not only that but her engagement ring and this is going back thirty five years was over three carats!! It's just not fair! When FH went to get me mine he said what he wanted to get and it was LESS than hers and she goes 'does she really need one that big, is that necessary??' It's like what about you lol!!! Meanwhile, I work full time AND go to night school three times a week AND clean, cook, bake, laundry, etc. and she acts like it's never enough! Sorry had to vent---but I'm happy for you, my sister is lucky like you too--her FMIL is great! There's still hope for me I think

Or avoiding her at all costs. My FMIL isn't too bad...but I don't see her that often. She's a very nice woman, but a bit nutso in the head.
