LOLOL!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's post everything that has gone so far while planning a wedding. I'll start....

-MOH will be 8 1/2 months pregnant
-Bought my BM gifts that I am not giving to them so WASTE of money!
-Sent invites out with the wrong day
-TONS of family drama
-Went for my first fitting last Saturday and I think all of LIW could fit into it. The manufacturer made a mistake on my custom made dress so the bridal salon wanted to send it back this past Thursday to CA - umm there is only 3 weeks left to my wedding. SO instead of my million dollar dress, I went to David's Bridal last night and bought another one. Hope to get my deposit back from the other place - WASTE of money!
-David's Bridal is so packed right now that they cannot fit me in for alterations so I now have to find a place who will alter my dress in a week.
-Ordered my FG dress online - still didn't receive it yet when it was supposed to be here on the 8th. SO I bought another one today from David's Bridal A LOT cheaper and matches my NEW dress - problem is, the place I ordered from online doesn't accept returns - WASTE of money!
- Received a free pair of shoes from Francine's Bridal Boutique, had them died ivory and they don't fit right so now I need new shoes - WASTE of money! .
-Bought a cake topper from Nicole Clark molded with my wedding dress - yeah not wearing that one anymore so WASTE of money!
-Tree fell down in my backyard which now looks like crap - that is where my rehearsal dinner will be held.
-Can't find a wedding band to match my ring so they have to custom make that which will be double the price.
-Bridal shower my family caused a scene, no one cared or helped when I opened my presents.
-Mom went for her second fitting that the seamstress altered it that she cannot fit into it anymore.


Can't think of anything else at the moment but I am SURE there will be more....

- My sister dropped out as my MOH
- My parents arent coming to the wedding
-We came up short so FH had to sell his motorcycle for money
- FH and I fought over evry detail
-FH refused to wear a nice tux... or cuff links
- My BM's made me cry over my go away bach party and then we stayed in a ghetto hotel
- My brother said, 'what akes you think everyone wants to take part in your stupid party'
- My dress that was too big is now too small and is being altered again


Ugh.. the list goes on... Cant wait for my wedding!

Yikes ! I think that fantasia will alter dresses even if you didn't buy them there. Its in rocky point.

I'm sorry this has been extremely stressful for you! Your wedding day is going to be amazing and that's what all this hard work is for! It may seem like a lot right now, but it will be worth it in the end.

I am so sorry you girls are going through all of this!! I am of the opinion that what ever can go wrong will go wrong that way I am never disappointed. IN the end the only thing that really matters is that I am marrying my best friend. Good luck with everything. It will all work out in the end.

I bought a sample dress and I'm using a seamstress in Bay Ridge who works out of her house. Her prices are reasonable and she was recommended by two '09 girls. Her name is Maureen Kramer 7182386781.

Hopefully the rest of wedding planning gets better!

that sounds wayyyy too much for one person to handle, not gonna say that ur day will be perfect cause my wasnt and thats just life, what I do have to say is that NOTHING matters in the end. u get married and u look at ur person standing there and all u feel is joy. oh and then u get to dance!!!

my list:
- 2 days before the wedding the tuxes came in and were the most horrible ghetto thing, had to go on Fri evening to ANOTHER place and pay almost triple of what we intended to pay
- had like 4-5 nervous breakdowns during the last week
- my parents decided to have a HUGE drama over DH (cause of one of the nervous breakdowns)
- the entire week my parents kept forgetting EVERYTHING! incl my DOJ in Israel (had it shipped FedEx so I got it the day before). My mom esp kept forgetting important things to bring, do, make u name it she fking forgot it!
- the entire wedding my mom kept coming up to me while I was dancing, taking pictures, talking to the Rabbi to take care of something - yup at my own wedding! I just ignored or yelled at them
- my huppah was constructed the exact OPPOSITE of what I asked it to be, I had a nervous breakdown and went bridezilla on my BM
- placecard printing was a fking nitemare! we kept redoing it and redoing it for like 3-4 times (Cause of one of the other nervous breakdowns)

and the list goes onnnnnnnnnnnnnn
whatevs! I had an awesome wedding and ppl were just floored by how amazing it was and I looked gorgeous and that all that matters in the end
